When Gary thought he was at the peak of his career, he was invited by a friend to do a CrossFit workout that she promised would be less than ten minutes. After being humbled by the hardest workout of his life, he was determined to learn everything there was to learn about CrossFit. That day was a life changing experience which made him realize there was a more effective, efficient, and unique way of achieving optimal health, which is the root idea of his life and career. Two months later Gary chose to focus on immersing himself into CrossFit by getting his Level 1 Certification.  He left his personal training job for an environment which would allow for his growth in a community of true fitness.  CrossFit has allowed Gary to share his passion by uplifting others and exposing them to a positive and healthy way of living. He does not measure personal success by how much he can lift or how fast he can run, but by how he can help his clients improve their performance, which directly correlates to health.

Michele has been involved in team & individual sports since a young age (soccer & tae kwon do). When she moved to California from Texas in 2010, she wanted to stay on the same path of fitness and joined a local 24 Hour Fitness.  This is when her desire of wanting to help others really peaked.  She began educating herself to become a personal trainer and discovered CrossFit 8 years ago.  After a year of being a personal trainer, she was invited to participate in the Open. This was her first exposure to a true CrossFit workout.  Shortly after, she began helping in group classes and helped open a CrossFit box in 2011. Since then, Michele has been actively coaching, running nutrition challenges, developing programming, and working with administration & social media. In 2016, she helped to open our sister facility in Medellin, Colombia and was responsible for all operations for 6 months. In 2017, she also managed CrossFit Arc, where she was the head coach, programmed workouts and events, and was in charge of the coaching development program.


erik thorson

Erik grew up playing baseball and riding bikes out in the street with the local neighborhood friends.  He ended his baseball career in high school and discovered his interest in working out after a year of sport specific training.  It was the first week of his senior year of high school that he walked into a CrossFit gym, and the rest is history.  Erik fell in love with the constant physical and mental challenge, the loud and loose environment of the gym, but most of all the incredible support network of the community.  He strives to give back to the community by creating an experience inside the box and within CrossFit.  When not in the gym, Erik loves to travel and ride his downhill mountain bike all over the world.

Kellie has a background in competitive team sports (softball and soccer).  She was introduced to CrossFit in 2011 from one of her teammates and finally joined a box in 2013.  She immediately loved the team spirit and community CrossFit offered and has continued to grow in the sport.  As a Master's Athlete, she recognized that proper nutrition, training, and recovery was important to avoid injury and have longevity in the sport.  She is committed to sharing the value and benefit CrossFit has to offer to all ages and help athletes reach their own personal goals.  Kellie reached one of her personal goals in CrossFit by qualifying for the AGOQ 50-54 division in 2018.

Bob grew up as an active dude playing baseball, basketball, hockey, and swimming.  As an adult, he found himself in a rut at the gym doing back/biceps, chest/triceps, and legs.  Bob found CrossFit in 2013 and was immediately drawn to the community, the new skills and lifts, and the fun!  Because who doesn't love lifting heavy things with loud music?!?  He knew he wanted to spend more time at the box helping others and became a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer in 2017.  When he's not at Eternity CrossFit he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children in Rancho Mission Viejo and training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.    


Todd Wunsch

In 2009 Todd was introduced to CrossFit in Encinitas, California.  A short time later, he was introduced to Rugby Union where he took on both playing and leadership roles within the sport.  Todd received his USA Rugby L1 Referee Certification in 2014 and later went on to obtain his CrossFit L1 Trainer Certification in 2015.  Todd currently participates in a coaching development program and regularly guest coach at various CrossFit locations in Southern California.   He is committed to growing the sport of CrossFit and Rugby at all levels.
